The SPS-150 is the perfect choice for simple and efficient polishing without compromising surface quality. Replacing the proven SPS-125, this polishing machine has an extended working range of Ø 10 up to 150 mm for processing spheres using the Synchrospeed process. As an option, the machine can also be used for polishing rotationally symmetric aspheres.

The SPS-150 features “fluid-based polishing”, a polishing process in which the lens is surrounded by a flowing polishing medium and pressed against the tool without contact with the workpiece holder. The polishing fluid provides effective cooling and even distribution of the contact pressure, resulting in increased process stability.  Because the back of the workpiece is also protected by the polishing media, the process also saves time by eliminating the need to apply a protective lacquer.
